studentsThe Smaller Learning Communities Program (SLCP) Web site has technical assistance tools, publications, and news & events to support districts and schools in their implementation of Smaller Learning Communities (SLCs) as part of a comprehensive effort to prepare all students to succeed in postsecondary education and careers. This Web site was produced under contract with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE).

  • 2007 and 2008 SLC Project Directors Meeting July 23-24, 2009
    SLC grantees awarded in 2007 and 2008 are required to attend this annual meeting as a condition of their award. Project directors for these grants may request additional information from EDJ Associates at SLCPD2009@edjassociates.com.

    The annotated bibliography features high-quality, no-cost resources that may be useful to SLCP grantees who are seeking to implement the SLC priorities for Cohort 7 and Cohort 8.

  • SLC Annual Performance Reporting
    SLC APR Web Tool now available for current SLC grant Project Directors at www.slcapr.ed.gov. APR Guidance and due dates have been issued to 2005 and 2006 SLC grantees.
